The Classic Chart Rundown

When it comes to music, it literally rules Dave's life. He's UK based and he's been DJing since the early ’80s, but it wasn’t until the mid 90’s that he became interested in radio presenting. His love and respect and understanding of all types of good music, right from as far back as the classic 50s, through to indie-pop and dance music of the ’90s & 00's

He grew up in West London listening to the radio from as young 3 or 4 years old and started collecting his own vinyl at the mere age of around 5 years old in the early ’70s, saving his pocket money up to buy 45's as often as possible, and even now, 50 something years on, he still an avid collector of vinyl.

Dave  was always a massive fan of the late great master of chart countdowns Alan “Fluff” Freeman, and his long running “Pick of the Pop” show over the years. Dave growing up always wanted to take a stab at doing his own take on a vintage chart countdown radio show.

He's delighted to announce that he now hosts his own successful classic chart show. The Classic Chart Rundown" was born. His high energy show covers 4 decades at music from the official UK Top 40 Chart, going back as far as 1957 and coming up to as far as 1989. He does plans to take the show into the 90s decade in the near future.  

The show is now available for free syndication and is already currently popular on many affiliate radio stations across the globe. The show is without doubt a real nostalgia trip evoking memories from the past. We are positive it won't take long for your regular station listeners to fall in love with the show and all the personal memories it holds for every individual.

Ohh.. And of corse.. The are completely free to air..

About the show

There are over 260 shows in the classic chart rundown archive. The chows are 59 minuets long sent as 1 file and are all completely none generic, meaning there is no mention of time or day or any station mentioned.

The shows are release monthly on batches of 20+ on or around the 28th day of each month, giving you the following month in advance. For example, toy will receive May shows at the end of April and that batch would be all various April charts from across the decades. A mixture of 60s, 70s & 80s (and the odd 50s chart). The files are MP3 format (192kps 44100hz).

DAVE MARLEY - THE EXPERIENCE
Dave's been producing and presenting this show for almost 10 years on a couple of different stations, and its now up for free syndication.

If you're looking for something cool, refreshing, and fun for your listeners, then this might be a great show to add to your station playlist to offer some real variety to your schedule. 

It's a once-weekly 2-hour show (sent in 2x 58min segments).
The music featured can be anything from Dance, Latino, Break Beat, RnB, Jazz, and Soulful House.
